Summary & Responsibilities

The Program Manager will manage complex injection molding tooling & Molding projects from conception to completion for Medical Products and collaborate with suppliers, customers, and team members.

 

 

  • Lead a customer focus team dedicated to the Program
  • Responsible for tracking relevant metrics and drive action items based on results
  • Organize, plan and direct program schedules and budgets
  • Provide technical support and knowledge from tool construction and molding process engineering aspects
  • Provide support, knowledge and expertise with contract negotiations as required.
  • Oversee all interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of all commitments made relative to product development timelines, delivery, quality and the required business metrics
  • Analyzes and researches data and will propose product specifications to determine feasibility of product proposal
  • Confers with all support team personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop corrective action, method improvement to resolve problems
  • Be responsible for maintaining excellent customer relations with both new and existing customers
  • Support production sites for projects, costs and other customer related matters through leadership and expertise

Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering or related field or relevant experience
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in plastic injection molding
  • Medical part validation experience
  • Experience in qualification of complex, high cavitation, tight tolerance injection molds
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Injection Mold Design and Injection Mold Processing techniques
