Summary & Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall management, direction, and coordination of plant operations to achieve production and fiscal objectives; including plant safety, customer relations, continuous improvement, strategic planning, quality assurance, problem resolution, staff development, engineering activity, and fiscal responsibility reporting to a Director of Operations.  
  • Establishes operations standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery
  • Implements Lean Manufacturing and drives continuous improvement
  • In conjunction with corporate leadership and management staff, establishes budgets and strategic plans to accomplish objectives for growth and profitability
  • Develops and implements strategic plans for site and critical interfaces inside and outside the site
  • Manages the P&L, driving all operations to meet or exceed budget targets and strategic plans


  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
  • 10+ years of relevant plastic injection molding manufacturing experience
  • Proven success in maintaining positive employee relations
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, and IATF quality management systems
  • Working knowledge of ERP operating systems (PLEX preferred). Strong financial knowledge with strong budgeting skills, proven P&L experience, and strong strategic planning experience
