Summary & Responsibilities

The New Business Development/Account Manager will be a member of the field sales team and focus on developing business opportunities and relationships with existing / new customers in the areas Prototype Tooling, Production Tool Builds, and Tool Repairs, while also exploring new business opportunities.

  • Develop existing / new business opportunities and inquiries
  • Gather information for technical and commercial proposals
  • Follow-up on technical and commercial proposals and respond to customer inquiries
  • Facilitate customer meetings, plant visits, and data collection with internal support personnel
  • Track projects through the selling cycle to closure
  • Achieve sales goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Technically oriented in plastic injection molding and mold build
  • 5 years industrial business-to-business sales experience
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Working knowledge of 3D modeling software, UG preferred, Pro-E is a plus
  • Domestic travel required
