  • Recently (2018) completed and moved into their brand new 40,000 sq. ft facility!
  • Aside from contract manufacturing; they also have a proprietary product line that they have been molding for nearly 30 years (Drinkware for the Food Service Industry)
  • Their customer base includes military, automotive, medical, commercial and plumbing applications.

Summary & Responsibilities

This is a hands-on shop floor & senior manager role that reports directly to the General Manager. You will be responsible for the safety program, manufacturing and maintenance operations, including processors and material handlers, as well as developing and maintaining ISO compliant processing standards for both production and development. You will work with all levels of the organization to develop and manage injection molding processes, mold setting standards, process development and execution, material handling procedures, troubleshooting, and statistical analysis.

  • Primary hands-on process engineer & liaison between manufacturing and Sr. management
  • Responsible for supervision of production, maintenance, process techs
  • Responsible for training of technical resources
  • Use Lean/Six Sigma methodologies for process development and problem solving
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a high-performance team
  • Responsible for optimizing cycle times, reducing scrap, and reducing downtime
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining associated department procedures
  • Monitor processes and ensure accurate execution of defined processes
  • Assess equipment and personnel requirements to make/ implement necessary changes


  • Injection molding process engineering experience (3-5 years minimum)
  • Solid understanding of Scientific Molding Principles
  • Lean/Six Sigma training (certification preferred)
  • Ability to interpret part prints, quality plans, and work instructions
  • Ability to develop and write work procedures and train personnel
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001-2015
