They are an integral partner of the automotive, consumer electronics and pharmaceutical industry worldwide. Providing design, development, manufacturing, assembly and packaging services for custom medical & drug delivery solutions, high precision transmission systems and precision plastic components.

Summary & Responsibilities

The Engineering Manager reports directly to General Manager. This position is responsible for the management of the Contract Engineering department (Project Manager, Tooling Engineer, Process Engineer Molding, Process Engineer Post Molding). The Engineering Manager and engineering team work with customers and suppliers to meet customer contract requirements by developing all aspects of the product and process. The position is also is responsible for ensuring that the site's Quality and Environmental management systems (QEMS) are being implemented and managed properly.    
  • Oversee the management of new projects from receipt of purchase order until completion
  • Generate weekly reports on the progress of projects and informs those involved
  • Leads the Program Engineering team and manages the execution of all actions to complete projects
  • Ensures injection molds, automation and process is developed and manufactured in compliance with customer specifications within budget and delivery obligations
  • Develops and implements the documentation required by customers and quality standards
  • Meets with customer’s quality control and/or engineering personnel to ensure manufacturing conformance with customer product specifications
  • Communicates project-related issues to all involved departments to ensure timely delivery
  • Keeps abreast of the latest developments in project engineering and the molding industry
  • Establishes the financial budget for all new engineering-related programs. This includes but is not limited to new tool builds, engineering changes, replacement tooling, etc.
  • Works closely with Tooling Engineering Manager to ensure all new tool builds, engineering changes, etc. are on track to meet all committed obligations including PPAP dates to our customers, as well as meeting the financial targets established at the inception of the program


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Science or Engineering related field.
  • 10 + years’ proven experience in the automotive industry
  • 5 + years’ proven experience in molding, post-molding operations, and leading interdisciplinary teams (Project Manager, Tooling Engineer, Process Engineer Molding, Process Engineer Post Molding)
  • Experience in specifying, purchasing, and implementing manufacturing processes
